If you have someone for whom you would like to provide a special memorial and resting place, we would like to help. The Cathedral of Hope Community Memorial Columbarium is just such a place. There are 192 beautifully designed, marble columbarium niches, which make up the columbarium, housed in large columns of split faced stone, covered by a lovely, vine draped, pergola. This columbarium provides an above ground, unique resting place for the ashes of deceased members of our community. The stone walls around the columbarium are adorned with individual engraved brass plaques. These beautiful plaques bear the names of loved ones who have died. This beautiful columbarium, as well as the garden area serves as a living memorial to those who have gone before us.

1. Do you have to be a member of the Cathedral of Hope to take advantage of this opportunity?

No, this community garden & columbarium is open to all, at the discretion of the CoH Board of Directors.

2. How does this compare with the cost of the traditional burial plot?

The CoH Board of Directors has developed this project in such a way as to be attractive in appearance and cost. The costs of the Niches and the Wall Plaques is listed below.

3. Can a niche be reserved in advance of need?

Yes, you may reserve and purchase a niche in advance under the terms of the guiding documents which govern the Columbarium. Making these arrangements in advance will also ease the burden so often left for others.

4. What is the pricing for a niche?

Pricing is determined by the location of the Niche within the column. The chart below is the current cost of each Niche. The cost of the Niche includes the name plate that is affixed to the face of the Niche.

The inside dimensions of each Niche are

9 ¼” X 9 ¼” X 9 ¾”(860 CU. IN.)

If you would like to memorialize a deceased family member or friend, you may purchase a bronze wall plaque that will be placed on the stone walls around the columbarium. These plaques are 1 ½” X 8” and include only the name of the deceased. The plaques are $175.00 each.
