I watched Good Morning America Thursday morning with horror as they aired a story about the suicide death of Rutgers University student, Tyler Clementi. The story reported that Clementi had been secretly videoed by his roommate in his dorm room having a sexual encounter with another man. The roommate then provided a live streaming of a second encounter for some 150 others to see. In his last post to Facebook on September 22 Clementi wrote, “Jumping off the gw bridge sorry.” Clementi was an 18-year-old college freshman at Rutgers University and an accomplished musician.
